Congratulations again to the Wilbur family!
BabyView would like to congratulate Jen and Michael Wilbur, our July “Baby of the Month” contest winners!
The proud parents-to-be are expecting their first baby and we are pleased to announce that they are having a beautiful baby girl –Harleigh Wilbur. Harleigh is expected to arrive at Oshawa General Hospital in late September and her birth is eagerly anticipated by two sets of incredibly excited first-time grandparents, Ray and Shelly Hudson, and Mike and Janet Wilbur. This lucky little girl will also have three very proud uncles just waiting to hold her! My guess is baby Harleigh has already captured the hearts of her grandparents and uncles; Brett, Andrew and Brian as Jen has told us they have already begun spoiling her!
Harleigh has a very unique name and I love the spelling! Her mom and dad chose her name after seeing her at their 18week ultrasound, when it appeared to them, that along with being very sweet and playful, she also demonstrated a little “attitude”! The name “Harleigh” was chosen to reflect her developing personality and I think they made the perfect choice!
As wonderful as it was to see their baby at 18 weeks, they fell truly in love with Harleigh when they saw her for the first time in 3D at BabyView. Harleigh put on a show by waving hello and hiccupping throughout the ultrasound- her little tummy jiggling, her tiny face scrunched up-much to the “awe” and delight of her parents!
As excited as they both are, Michael and Jen, like all other new parents-to-be, are also anxious. The thought of a daughter has already invoked their protective instincts and Michael has decided (no joke) that baby Harleigh will be enrolled in karate and self defense classes as early as they are offered. Perhaps he will even join her? Look out future boyfriends!!
Harleigh, your mom and dad want you to know how much they love you and how excited they get when they think of all the amazing and memorable moments ahead. They will each draw upon their own wonderful childhood experiences and combine them to provide you with treasured memories of your own. Your mom has said she is already anticipating your first Christmas and the start of new traditions all your own!
Michael and Jen, and to all of your family counting the days until Harleigh arrives, we would again like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and we are delighted to have the opportunity to see you all again!
