CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO THE JENKIN BABY

Meet baby Jenkin, the second child for excited parents Greg and Lisa! Their first child, little girl Hannah, is 18 months old and very curious about the baby growing in mommy’s tummy. She loves to give Lisa’s belly kisses and pretends the baby is saying hello by giving her little kicks.

Greg and Lisa have decided to keep the gender of their baby a surprise for family and friends. The extended family will have to wait patiently to find out whether the baby is a boy or a girl! Baby Jenkins’ arrival is eagerly awaited by; proud grandparents Gerry and Peggy MacNeal and Brian and Shelley Jenkin, great-grandparents Allan and Jean Scarlett and Malcolm McBain, and loving aunts and uncles, Ashley and Darryl MacNeal and Kent and Lisa Sargent.

When Lisa and Greg first came to BabyView on October 2, 2020 they said their experience was truly breathtaking. “The little movements and features totally put a new picture in your mind of what is going on inside the womb. It’s incredible!”�

Baby Jenkin will be born in Port Perry Lakeridge Hospital, expected just before the New Year on December 31st. He/she will arrive home to a beautiful nursery decorated in Winnie the Pooh with a huge assortment of toys that big sister Hannah will be glad to share!�

Sorry it has taken me so long to get these to you - being a single Mom has been taking up a lot of my time (and I love every minute).I had a bit of trouble getting early pictures as he had jaundice and his colour wasn't so great in most pictures but, I hope you can use some of these.Thank-you so much for the wonderful experience. It was amazing to see Dylan before he was born. I loved Dylan as he grew inside but, my love grew even more after actually seeing him and I couldn't wait for him to be born. Maybe that's why he came into the world three weeks early. Also, having his picture on my fridge helped me to choose a name that seemed to suit him. I recommend your services to every pregnant woman I meet. Thank-you so much!

Thank you for the best wishes. Funny enough, we tried so hard to get a good look at the baby and I was 100% sure it was a boy. Well, we had a little girl named Julia born January 14th. Here are two pictures of her that you might be able to use. We don't have any really good side shots to compare though.

Thanks again. I sent a few of my friends your way and they also had it done. My one girlfriend Melanie said she had the same trouble that I had and her baby wouldn't wake up either! I would definately do this again as it was a great experience.

First View of Baby
To say it was amazing is an understatement! The tears of joy I shed this day weave a story told in three dimensions. My husband and I had the fortunate pleasure of having a three dimensional ultra-sound at BabyView in Pickering. The wonderful part is that we didn’t show up alone. BabyView offers a separate seating area with a large television, which shows the entire session just as we saw it in the private room. This allowed us to share this special moment with family - both sets of grandparents and our two year old daughter.
We learned that three dimensional imaging has been around for quite a few years, but is new to Canada in the last four to five years. This type of ultra sound uses the same type of ultra-sound waves as a traditional system, only the computer is able to take the information and create a three dimensional image on the screen that looks like a regular photograph. The first view of your baby’s face, in full three dimensions and real time movement was an emotional high.
When we first arrived we met Cheryl Mech, the owner of BabyView, who was also our sonographer for the session. Cheryl is a registered sonographer with over 15 years of experience. Once the necessary paper work was completed, Cheryl took my husband and me into the ultra-sound room, while our family stayed in the waiting area to watch the session on TV. The room we entered was very comfortable, with music playing and a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall, so that I could see everything with ease. From there we were taken on a half hour journey into my womb to see our next child in stunning three dimensional clarity. Cheryl worked very hard to get the best angles and views, showing us all parts of our baby and getting stunning views of the baby moving. You could really tell that Cheryl loves her work, saying “I have the best job in the world”, getting to share in such experiences with so many parents. We were also able to clearly determine the sex of our baby …but I’m not telling what it is.
When our session was over we received a couple of pictures printed on their colour printer, a CD of several pictures taken during the ultra-sound, and also a DVD of the entire session with music track in the background. The experience was mind boggling, and is something we can treasure for years to come as we watch the DVD of our newest edition to our family. As well, it will help to prepare our 2 year old daughter for the birth of her sibling.
BabyView is located on Kingston Rd just west of Brock Rd. in Pickering and has been in operation for the last 3 years. BabyView offers several packages and discounts for those wishing to attend more than once during a pregnancy. The best time for a 3-D/4-D ultrasound is between the 24 and 34 week mark but Cheryl has done them as early as 11 weeks as well. Hello there, my name is Jenny LeBlanc. I had my daughter’s 4D ultrasound at your clinic a few months again. (I believe it was in April). You had requested that I send a picture of her to you once she was born. I have included these pictures for you (the resemblance is uncanny, to the ultrasounds) and she sill covers her little face with her hands as she did all through the ultrasound. I wanted to thank you for giving my fiancé and me a wonderful sneak peak into our daughter’s life. We named her Caitlyn Elizabeth, she was born on July 11th at 7:13amd and weighted 8lbs 9ox! Hello Cheryl,

It's Dawn. After visiting you , I went directly home to look up the web site that had all the reviews on you and your company, but no such luck!!! I tried and tried, don't know where I found it. However it was because of how amazing you are, I found you. All the good things moms wanted to share over the net lead me to you.

I don't know how to give my testimonial or send my thoughts on you, but thought this was a good chance. Here it goes. I have had two previous pregnancy before this lil' guy. Have viewed many ultra sounds. Never one as so touching and real as the one I experienced with you. I knew there was a lil' one inside me, but after really seeing him through 3d and 4d, it made it so much more real. I feel like I already know him. I watch the video over and over again, and cry everytime. You thought that mine was so clear and we could not decide which pictures to print out. Remember, I am the one who went through the nasty breakup to meet the most amazing guy. I am due in January and promise to bring an after picture of this lil' guy to you. Just so that we can compare.

It was a pleasant surprise for my husband and I when we found ourselves pregnant in February 2006 with our 3rd child. Since this was probably going to be our last child, we wanted to do something different, something memorable.

We had heard about the 3D ultrasound but knew very little about it. After doing our research we decided to go with BabyView.

During and prior to our appointment, Cheryl and her staff answered our many questions with such care, warmth and knowledge that we knew we had chosen the right place.
