INTRODUCING THE GUSHUE BABY, Oshawa, ON

Congratulations to our January BabyView of the Month winners Lacey Griffin and Mark Gushue.

In December, Lacey and Mark came to BabyView for their very first 3D ultrasound experience. The first-time proud parents-to-be are thrilled they are having beautiful baby girl. Lacey and Mark have decided to name her Lily Diann Gushue. Lily is a name that both Lacey and Mark loved as it symbolized purity and the name Diann is after both Nana Diane and Nanny Dorothy Ann. Baby Lily has a big family eagerly awaiting her arrival on April 11, 2020 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. Nana Diane, Poppy Al, Nanny Dorothy and Poppy Dave are the proud grandparents-to-be. The excited uncle’s include Ryan, Scott and David, along with Great Aunt Dar and Great Uncle Mike. Baby Lily also has two cousins, Maddie and Shelby. Maddie can’t wait to have another baby girl around and Shelby loves to talk to Baby Lily and takes great delight in calling her “Gloria”.

When Lacey and Mark first saw Baby Lily on the screen at BabyView they couldn’t believe how chubby her little cheeks were. They agreed she inherited mommy’s chubby cheeks and chin but loves to suck her thumb just like her Daddy did when he was a baby. “Seeing her little expressions on the screen made it more real for us and made us even more anxious to meet our little girl. The experience was incredible and one that we would recommend to anyone. We are thrilled to have this experience and will watch the video for years to come. I can’t wait to show it to her when she is grown up!” said Lacey.

Mark has big plans for his little “Lilybug”, he can’t wait to teach her all about golf and hopes to instill in her his passion for the sport at a very early age. He already pictures her stardom in the LPGA. Mommy thinks she’s already practicing her swing in the womb. We’re sure everyone has big plans for Baby Lily and there’s no question that she will be spoiled, especially by her Nanny and Poppy. They have 3 sons and 2 grandson making this the first girl in their family. Nana Diane began buying Lily presents the day she found out Lily was coming!

The miracle alone of being able to see my daughter before she is born is without a doubt incredible, but your hospitality and kindness was also greatly appreciated. My husband and I found out we were having a girl, and from that moment on we couldn't stop talking about what she looked like. We had to know! Babyview gave us a small look into the world of our baby, we could see her chubby cheeks, her sucking her thumb, and to feel her kick and see it at the same time was really awesome, I finally knew which way she was lying and what the movements I felt were. It was great to see what she looked like so when I daydreamed about her, I could see her face, clear as day. I can't wait to do it again for my second baby!
